Get to Harrow's If You Can

Harrow's is in Chapter 11.  Lauren and I dropped in on two of their stores over the weekend for their liquidation sales.  At the first store on Sunrise Highway, we found a couple deals but literally had an outdoor table we were interested in sold out from underneath us.  So we headed over to a store on Middle Country Road and found a great deal on some patio furniture, which we hauled home in my truck. We couldn't find any reasonably-priced grills, but there seems to be a good deal of patio furniture and holiday decorations left.  Get over there if you're looking for some deals on outdoor furniture.

Not Dead

There's been so much going on at the office, I haven't had time to blog.  Between getting prepared for the iMedia Summit, dealing with the work that accumulated while Eric and I were there, pitching a bunch of new business, wrapping up the last of the 2007 plans and generally winding down for the year, there's a tsunami of activity that will keep me scrambling right up until Christmas. I promise to pick things up, though.

Spin-less

I'm no longer writing the Tuesday column for Mediapost's The Online Spin. There are a lot of reasons for this, most of which I'd rather not get into right now, but I gave my notice a few weeks back. For those of you looking for the usual marketing commentary from yours truly, check out iMediaConnection.com, where I've been writing weekly on Thursdays. With iMedia, I've been exploring a lot of the social media topics that you're used to reading about here, and iMedia's Editor in Chief and Chief Content Officer Brad Berens has been great at helping me focus my commentary and lending clarity to my pieces. Look for my stuff both here and there.
