Kathryn Ellen Hespos - Born 7/28/2008 (sharing a birthday with Uncle Rob) at 10:32 AM. 8 lbs. 10 oz. , 21" long and just beautiful. I'm worried that, after all Lauren and I have been through today, that if I post more than that, I'll start to babble. So I'm going to go to sleep now and I'll post the photos (and possibly some videos) we took throughout the day.
Camping this weekend was fun, but I'm beat up. 1) I have a gash on my big toe, thanks to a glass bottle I encountered while clamming off Cedar Point. I probably should have gone for stitches, but didn't.
2) I dropped a 200-lb. generator on my ankle. It hurts, but the swelling should go down in a couple days.
3) I have a burn on my arm from accidentally leaning against my camp stove.
4) There's a bump on my head. At some point Friday night, I woke up disoriented and sat up in bed - right into the corner of the overhanging cabinet.
So I might just buy a vat of Neosporin and soak myself in it for a day.
I am so swamped it is not even remotely funny. So don't expect to see much here this week.
