Treasure Hunting On Sunday

My new Ace 250 was delivered last week and I wanted to try it out this weekend. Unfortunately, I could break away for only two hours on Sunday morning. But I did manage to get down to the beach near Wildwood State Park and do some treasure hunting. I found an old penny that was almost completely destroyed by the salt water - hey, at least I knew the thing worked. Right as I was about to leave, I registered a target right at the limit of the detector's range. It showed the target as 8+ inches below the surface. I dug for a while and ended up finding a small diamond heart pendant. It's probably fake, but it was quite exciting to find jewelry on my first outing with a new detector. I'm going to get it checked out by someone who knows something about diamonds.
